About Alma David Waite

Alma David Waite is a native of Boise, Idaho. He studied art at the University of Montana. His paintings express a way to look at our earth and see the nearness of the spirit of the world. Alma believes, “the more we learn about nature, the more we learn about art.”

Having spent much time in the mountains of Idaho and Montana and on family travels into Central America, has led him to be inspired to continue walking the trails of the natural world and to express these experiences on canvas and water color paper.

He and his wife and children like to collect gifts left by the Earth Mother and surround their living space with the objects that create an atmosphere to paint the art he dreams and feels.

Waite wishes to transport people to the places his paintings image and hopefully inspire people to think more about Peace and Harmony.
